We have not been their in a while & went back, we where not happy at all. They service pink chicken (not cooked) to my husband. When we told the waitress she apoligized & came back to say the cook said it is pink from the brine. They asked if he wanted something else, who want something else from a kitchen that is not cooking the food properly. The place was freezing, they did not want to turn the heat up. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever again. When we left we see 3 members of the kitchen staff out back having a cigarette break & sitting on buckets, that is not appealing to see at a restaurant. It seems they cared more about their break then making the customers food. We where their in a Saturday night around 7:00 & there was only one other table of 2 people eating at that time, that should have been a dead give-away, not to eat here.

Not sure what happened to this place, but it is NOT what it was about a year ago. Back then, the ribs were smoky and hot and fell off the bone. Now, they're still of good quality beef but the smokey taste is barely there, they come out barely warm, and they DO NOT fall off the bone--actually, they barely come off at all. The quality of the ingredients is still very good, and the sauces are the same as I remember--delicious. However, the preparations have changed. It was not only the meat, but the beans were not as smokey, and the collard greens were not as slow-cooked. This was our third time there and we had brought the whole family this time. We were very disappointed. The service, or at least our waiter (~6ft 3in light-skinned young man), was EXCELLENT. When we mentioned that the food was different, he did say they were trying new things in the kitchen. I may be back for the ribs, just because of the high quality of the meat, but considering the cost and the time it takes to get there (~40 min), I think I may just stick with Costco's baby back ribs. I feel really bad, as I really liked the place and was raving about it for a while... I want to know what happened!

It's to bad that my experience on Super Bowl Sunday was a complete disappointed. The orders were mixed up, the service was beyond slow and the Owner or Manager did nothing but scream at his employees. My father was lived and it was one of the most uncomfortable experiencedoing dining. The food however is good. You can not cut corners on service without cutting your own own through the. My suggestion would be hiring a few classy American citizens

I am sorry to say I was not happy with this place. I am generally not very picky. I ordered the brisket and pulled pork sandwich. The taste was decent but it was ICE cold. My father ordered a double burger and upon arrival it was literally completely uncooked. Uneatable! We asked for it to be put back on the grill and about one minute later it came back out. Microwaved and soggy with 1/4 of the french fries that were on the plate to begin with. The waitress was very nice. That was the only plus. And the floor is like an ice skating rink its so slippery. I was worried my father would slip and fall when he went to the bathroom. I am sorry for the bad review but it needs to be said. This place could be so good but the cook is dropping the ball.

I was looking forward to trying it. The tablecloths were sticky, the fried chicken tasted like vegetable oil, and the quesadilla was very very skimpy and dry with a burnt taste. I asked the couple in the next table how their ribs were and they said just "okay". I was extremely disappointed. I also don't like looking at the garbage can while eating. Could use a good cleaning and update. The plastic jars of sauce that remain on the tables were sticky and looked dingy too. I would not return, however, at least I got out of cooking a night....but that was the only good thing. So sorry. And I usually will never take the time to write a review.
